Feedback from my bird expert (who I should have consulted first lol): Just for accuracy; Leucism is not a genetic condition. It is a description of plumage. That plumage, can be caused by a number of factors, of which some probably have nothing to do with genetics. Diet and injury are two factors that can lead to leucism in birds, which are not linked to genetics.
